DEPERY DUFOUR started as provider of metals bar turning companies in the “Valley de l’Arve”. Over time the company became a global solutions provider for its customers, including metals and steel supply, tooling and cutting oil.
Thanks to a strong logistic know how our company is one of the principal local suppliers for semi-finished products (steel bars, stainless steel, aluminum, copper alloys) and more globally for industrial companies in the Valley.
In Scionzier since 1920
The company has followed the market changes:
- Through solid relationships with suppliers in Europe.
- By implementing new logistic equipment: warehouses of 6000 sqm, internal truck fleet.
- By implementing an efficient IT system.
- Through our quality process which allowed us to get the ISO 9002 certification in 1996 and the ISO 9001/2015 certification since 2002.
- By expanding its range of products and services to other semi-finished items.

DEPERY DUFOUR has 24 employees and support customers with:
- A stock of approx. 4000 tons of round bars and profiles (carbon steel, stainless steel, brass, aluminum, copper)
- A stock of specific materials according to customers specifications
- A stock of cutting tools from Sandvik
- A range of industrial lubricants from Motorex (Swiss)
- A fleet of 6 trucks to deliver customers in Haute-Savoie everyday
- An efficient logistic solution to supply customers all around France

The company culture is based on a total control of the products from the choice of suppliers, traceability, storage and handling as well as after sale support.
In 2022, we have implemented a bar codes system and scanners in all our warehouses. This allows our employees to avoid mistake in the order’s preparation and drivers to deliver goods to customers as expected. “Right from the start”.

Since 1920…
Founded in 1920 in Scionzier (74, France), trough the merge of forest activity and wood cutting of DEPERY and DUFOUR families. In 1930, DEPERY DUFOUR started to handle steel and brass bars for turning industry in la “Valley de l’Arve”. Over decades the company has followed closely its customer needs to become a reference on the market.

New management since 2016
In 2016, DEPERY DUFOUR was bought by Bruno CHRISTIEN. With a strong industrial experience in automotive and turning fields, he continues to drive the company towards markets with high added values in France.
